  • Arts education is as important to young people as algebra.

  • I have never had an art class at my highschool, junior high, or elementary. It absolutely kills me that because of that I may never acheive my dreams of making a living off of what I love to do more than anything else in the world.

Thank you for giving me hope.

  • Brava, Bravo! x

  • I LOVE this video. I have played it over & over!

  • First I LOVE this song! Second I love what the students have to say! We NEED ART in all schools. I'm an Art Education major in Florida and have just started my first internship in an elementary school. I love every moment of it.

  • Many more of art educators should use this vehicle of communication to get the word out to the public. We have this communication tool and we should use it. I think every art educator should be working to develop an advocacy video such as this excellent example and post it on Utube for others to view. It's more critical now then ever given the state of the economics in this age. Don't wait, act now.

  • Excellent work! The kids say it all.

  • This is amazing -- great work!!! My compliments to you and the students who were involved!

I just wanted to let you know, that I have posted it on my BLOG, you can find it here!

    Most sincerely, Susan B

  • I was very moved by the words of your students...I am a very active Arts Advocate in our area and in the state of Michigan. I was very moved by the words of your students...I am a very active Arts Advocate in our area and in the state of Michigan. As a 50 yr old guy who teaches band, I am perceived as a person trying to save his job...not protect the rights of those who benefit from an arts education. There is so much power in the words of these students!

  • Let Them Be Heard is now available on Teacher Tube.

  • You go girl you go! :]

    WOW!
