The good lower end scopes are Bushnell 3200 series, Redfield Revolution, Burris fullfield II, Nikon Prostaff but it you can swing a Nikon buckmaster that would be better.
If I were to maybe choose one I might go with the Redfield. It seems like a good scope and is made by Leupold and has a lifetime warranty (Its the only one made in the USA..). The only complaint I have about the Redfield is that the click adjustments in the turret are not real positive and kind of spongy.
