i tried to change my gameboot but all that comes up when the gameboot loads on my psp is a white background and the word psp but no ball effect things or noise like original gameboot. i made back up but accidently saved over it. to get my original gameboot back i downloaded a defualt one off the internet, it didnt work. do you know what i have to do to make gameboots work or at least get my original one back?

i am running a 3.40oe-a please help

Rofl.. Roy ur probably a PSP newb... Recovery mode is for PSPs with a CUSTOM FirmWare. Those things are cracked, they can play downloaded games right from your memory stick.

And BTW... if u attempt to take a look in your FLASH(X) (if you are even smart enough to dun brick ur PSP) dont delete anything without making a backup or you WILL have a PSP. (Alltough a Pandora's Battery will help)

you need custom firmware for gameboots upgrade to 3.71 m33 then you can access your recovery mode

Hmm...

I stopped my PSP hacking, so I think that you need to re-flash your PSP. I'm not sure, try googling it.
