I don't know the show at all, but I can tell you that you kinda got the typed up voiceover in the description wrong... the first one is:

I LOVED this! I really, truly did...I've been a bit Torchwood-crazed lately since I JUST discovered the show, and this was one of the best vids I've seen! And your description makes so much sense, and it's why I love Sci-Fi so much in the first place...because in order to understand the ordinary, and the human, we need to look at it through an extraordinary lens.
