Atlas Tru-Trak - there's your problem right there. There's no fishplates to align the rails.

That, and running your Santa Fe train backwards - that's an observation car on the tail, not a driving trailer.

@acelafan123 - sorry, I got the brand name wrong. It's actually Life-Like PowerLoc. As long as you're running on that floor, stay with the Bachmann E-ZTrak with nickel-silver rail (grey baseplate) and you shouldn't have too many problems.

@Electrains Kato Uni track is the way to go for roadbed track, the bachmann stuff sucks, I found out the hard way, it's cheap made in China crap where the Kato is made in Japan and it's worth every penny

@ninosheroes6 bachmann trains aren't bad, as long as you get the spectrum stuff, dcc is nice, but bachmann f'd up a lot of their diesels on the dcc conversions by removing the brass flywheels on ones that had them just to put in a dcc chip

I think that's what you get for trying to push back a train with long carriages on tight curves. Also, the "Life-Like" (agreed - not very) Powerloc track does not guarantee alignment, as it has no fishplates (joiners) on the rails themselves. Stick with the Bachmann Ezi-Track for now, preferably the stuff with the grey base and nickel-silver rails.

The bachman is the best starter track... the crash: thj=e only thing is that the Couplers might of broke... the issue is that the trach has a short raidus.. put the santa fe on the acella track.... shpuld be fine :)

Hey its me again, heres a tip. You know those gold things that connect in between the tracks, well take a tooth pick and go on the under side and push the pointy part out and hold the sorrounding other wise the whole thing will pop out! And youll have a broken track you cant use!
