that depends on of your internet speed not the strength of the signal... mine take about 3 mins... but my internet is 200megabits... so is really dam fast... peace

yeah mine's fast as hell aswell man but it just not working :( normally for other upgrades it takes me 30 minutes max, but this one, it took 10-15 minutes for it to do 1% then it turnt off at 38% :@ peace

Hmm, the update is pretty different for people in the EU. We don't get the news ticker under the other stuff in the top right, and we get an extra "TV" tab for iPlayer.

Terrible update, infact it was a waste of my time. The freinds list and fonts just looks clunky now, it was perfect before, and this whole update is just a way of advertising their shit on your xmb.

The biggest dissapointment however is the bbciplayer icon. Its just a link to the webbrowser. WTF

Wow man......ps3 has come a longggg way. Anybody who says the xmb is boring.......look at this.....Sony has made it cleaner and more elegant while showing off an "alive" feel to it' without plastering ads all over the place like the 360.
