@neckarsulme Yea it was the CHP....the deputies that worked that night was clowing the CHP officers anytime they came to the booking area asking for a gray scale. It was a good night in a bad place to be working a 12 hour shift for free. To see them all flustered as they were was classic.

It's in plain sight there is no excuse why it was missed. I can tell you however that in some parts of the country (like my dept) we are not allowed to do a full search unless a female officer is present, only a prefunctuary pat down...which this would have surely found.
