  • I didn't recognise the silver car at 4:17, someone can help me? Is it a Jag or what? Thanks

  • Yes. It's an E Type (lightweight) !

  • I think that is a type E lightweight

  • Are the D-type and the XKSS the real deal, or are they replicas?

  • One of the Ds and the XKSS were the real deal. There was also a Lynx D there too. I managed to get a ride in the D and the Lynx that day.

  • Most enjoyable you cant beat the old Classics for the engine sounds and body style, unlike modern cars.

  • Just amazing. Great stuff

  • I love the sound of the D-Type (the one they had to push).

Did that have any silencers or any thing on the exhaust, it was very loud.

  • Do all the cars have Straight 6 XK's in them?

  • Yes.

All the cars there that day had XK engines.

  • Aren't XK's among the most beautifull cars?

  • Ah, like my friend cg sez, nuttin' like listening to Sir William's Sixth Symphony! Sooo much better than listening to some gawdawful, booming V-8!

  • I was lucky enough to be treated to 5 laps in the D type there.

    Unbelievable.

I love the burble of a V8, but I'm just as happy with it sitting in the car park (parking lot), but it's nothing to beautiful straight 6 on chat.

    Cheers

  • I went to that day - a bit wet british weather hey. I have a jaguar c type replica and a xk 140 (50 years old) - cracking stuff

  • This particular day was lovely, dry all day. The only time I've been on the track myself when it was wet was for XK60.
