if you dont have nothing to do here, dont do nothing..im english,,im black..im chinesse,, im indien...im spanish,,,,all are people who love and bolive in a god :)
As a Jew, I lament the attrocities perpetrated by the Nazis - how were their crimes any less inhuman than the massacre at My Lai - the daily degradation of women forced to rely on protituion to subsist - the unspeakable slaughter of families - babies - born and unborn.
i felt close to all of my brothers and sisters around the world - "The Family of Man" and it pained me to know that my Vietnamese brothers and sisters were being slaughtered. I am still sickened by the stories of soldiers using an entire culture for target practice. The unspeakable crimes.
I am always touched to find that my photo has meant somethng important to other humans. I was particularly moved by the opening quote. At the time of the demonstration, I was 17 and living with a foster family. I had been busted for one oz of marijuana, and served 10 months in a state institution that was unspeakably horrific. I was released to a family, I could not relate to and was terribly unhappy.
I found solace in doing what I could for peace. i was a person of conviction.
2:26 was a very angry person and it sickens me that a man would take another man strip him naked rename him john whip him rape his woman and bind him in chains..And now blacks have the light skin black dark skin black complex which is obviously a disease called self-hatred which isn't their fault though, bless them.
I think this is one of the most beautiful videos I have seen on Youtube. It shows life in its most unique ways, which is what youtube is good at. Thanks very much to whoever made the video, really stops you in your tracks. Keep up the good work !

Are you serious? Are you mean that for real? What have you done to be white? Did you had a choice before gettin born? How can you blame people for their colour when this is something you cannot influence?! Capturing africans to america and than complaining about , that you have to live with it?! Peolpe like you makes me so sad.

jeez dude chill out im only 13 and i was makin a joke.black people arent the most innocent people in the world.they talk bout how there living in poor conditions and they deserve more from the government but the dont even get jobs they just fuckin kill eachother.of course im not talkin bout al black people when i say this
holy fucking shit... Dude grow the fuck up. You ignorance is amazing.. You actually think that? You are a disgrace to humanity. "dont criticise what you can't understand"
It's ignorance to generales other races, thats, what the nazis did... an what you did now! That is the same fascism! Where should this end, when you act the same way? Im german, but I have NOTHING to do with fascists, so don't put it all in one box!
Way too centered on US history. I wouldn't call James Dean alone in Times Square "the most important moment in the 20th century history". Nevertheless, there are interesting pictures (D-Day, Viet Nam, Paris '68, MLK, Berlin Wall, Tienanmen, WTC, Gaza, Iraq).
I've said it before and I'll say it again, during the 20th century (in which the camera was invented), America has been the most important country in the world: from the civil rights movement to the war in Vietnam and the assassination of JFK, nothing else has come as close.
Thank you! Not only to MonkeyX5 but to everyone that has left me these wonderful comments. I'm very glad that you enjoyed this compilation of photos and I will try to do more if I find anything interesting in the future!
I am jan rose - I am so touched by this incredible display you have created. It help counter the pain I feel when I witness what Amerikans have allowed this country to do to Iraq.
I am a dedicated peace pilgrim. I went to London in '03 to protest the impending invasion, but the bad guys have become more brazen and corrupt. They KNOW they can just ride the bull - holding onto their money-making enterprises for as long as they can get away with it. BE HEARD! PROTEST THIS WAR!
Well done! You needed that one famous photo of the North Vietnamese officer shooting (in the head) the South Vietnamese soldier. To me, that photo epitomized the brutality and the callousness of that war. How one human can do that to another (whether enemies or not) is unfathomable.
A similar thing was said on my Historic Moments video. The reason American has so many photos is because America has been a very politically important country in the 20th century - they've been through a lot of things that have changed the world such as the creation of the atom bomb, the black rights movement, Vietnam, Gulf War, JFK assassinations and more recently, 9/11 and the Iraq war - the list goes on.
there were aussies in nam, brits in the gulf etc etc there was no photos of the falklands northern ireland etc etc british canadians in ww2 they r just as human as americans however they probably dont deserve a place in history, until ppl realise theres more to history than hollywood.
Long live Iranians & Iran ("Land of Aryans"), the 4000-year-old nation which like a Sun has been shining civilization culture sciences & arts over this planet since the very early dawn of history. The evil forces of oppression & darkness, today headed by the apartheid Zionist regime of ethnic cleansing, cannot stand the bright light of culture civilization love & compassion emitting from the Iranian Plateau.

dabertl2007 3 years ago
I don't think a portrait of Adolf Hitler is a historic photo, however, he is a very important historical figure.

of course its historic, if hitler was american i´m sure his pic is there...
