Quelle époque magnifique. De vraies autos, avec du vrai charme. Aucune aide à la conduite, aucune assistance, ça sentait l'huile, le pneu qui chauffe, ça faisait de la vraie musique, aucune direction assistée, tu sentais la moindre réaction de tes pneus sur la route dans le volant.

Ils ont quoi maintenant chez renault ? La Clio RS... mouai...

theres a huy, in my street who has one of these, it used to be the lowest one n britain but he bought it from a guy in london, were the streets and roads are smooth and when he was on his way home to glasgow he had to stop at an autos and get new springs, because the roads in glasgow are so bad, oh and btw are these RWD?? always wondered

All of the 5 turbo's have a 1.4 engine... starting with the alpine, gt turbo, 5 turbo and 5 turbo 2, even the Maxi 5 turbo with max. power of 400hp (oficiall ones) had the same 1.4cc 4 in line engine.. or 1397 cc engine to be precise.. it's a great litlle devil =) i had one.. and i really miss that pocket rocket.. Renault ''Super'' 5 GT turbo and all of the 5 turbo family will put a smile on your face every single time!! Believe me.. i know ;)

The only R5 with a bigger engine I think was the Maxi Turbo with a 1500, but all the other Turbo versions, even street versions were 1300.

They were fantastic, but my street one when I bought it was a 1400. I think all mid engined ones were, something to do with the turbo and homolgation I think.

Why did i sell it? to but a 205 GTI, cheaper to run lol

It not only looked that way, it was extremely that! Even the much, much later Renault Clio V6 sport had/has that same problem...very heavy in the tail.

Also with the engine in the back.
