I meet him once when he was recording a song in Bath, England and I saw him shopping in Bath and at first didn't recognise him. Then I went upto him and asked if he was NFAK and he said 'YES' WOW

He was so softly spoken.

I remember when he came to America long time ago the tickets were sold out in a few hours and I couldn't get any. Not surprising but more than half of his audience were american people who didn't understand Urdu or Punjabi but they just wanted to listen to him. He was the greatest EVER!!!!!

The metaphor of the ranjha heer and jogi used here shouldnt be mixed with hindu jogi....here ranjha...stands for God ,Jogi for Prophet and Heer is the poet himself.

the lyrics of bulle shah was secular..he was sindh's Kabir...u dont have to tell that this "jogi" is not hindu..the sufism was both influenced by Islam and Hinduism...it has less to do with religious affiliation than cultural commonality...persian ranjha and indian subcontinents heer....i was told this in Iran....
