  • i hate the khmer rouge so much for destroying for what we had,

they don't deserve to die yet at all.

instead, they should live with ALL the skeletons of the millions of they killed until the second they die.

let those ghosts haunt them until they feel bad

they are shameful as a human being- heartless.

  • "Prasna 4 kor" means "4 riddles"

  • Is this style of Khmer music called "Ayai"? I saw something like this with Kong Nay, it was excellent.

  • @MegaLiam84 Not realy ayai seems like the insterment stops when they begin to sing

  • @iraaado The girl says if you want her you have to pass a quiz or riddle thats whats it's mainly about..I think.

  • This was crodile movie, why is she talking about her grandpa and other animal?

The chinese version was talking about the movie and not her grandpa or something else.

  • @RoyalHim Do you know anything about this movie? She is giving him a riddle to solve in order for her to trust him. Her old wise teacher ( grandpa) instructed her to always ask these questions to any man who appoach her for her love. The Chinese version is not accurate........listen to lyrics and you will understand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ចូលចិត្តខ្លាំងណាស់ (bunlin.com)

  • damn that's a big croc! lol

  • Very humorous song. Just listen to the guy's replies to the riddles.

  • this song is hard to sing...for the ladies i mean...the chinese version is not that good...sounds butchy..not free flowing like our language.

  • Aww I <3 this song! ^_^ I really long for these classics!

  • My mom love this song so much1

  • Dy Saveth looks gorgeous in here. :D Thank you for the upload!

  • Low tow is one of the funniest man of kambodia. Now my favorite funny actor is tha mine. I miss this song so much since I first heard it in 1984. What ever happened to Mr. Low Tow?

  • I always come back to this song. i like it so much it has a storyline and the unbelievable singing intonations and beautiful tones out of this world of sereysothea and samouth. I like the pureness story with the two characters on the river bay and the defiant women bathing too proud yet beautiful.

  • i always come back to that song. I like it so much it has a storyline and just incredibly beautiful singing voices out of this world.

  • So far to me anyway, you have the most original recordings without the added ish. Keep 'em coming.

  • Wow.. I'm impressed and delighted to have seen this classic footage of Lok Ta Loto. It's amazing that he had survived the Khmer Rouge era and lived up to the millenium. My father was the only person fortunate and lucky to have sponsored and brought Lok Ta Loto and Lok Yeay Kao Eak to perform in America in the mid 90's. Rest in Peace to both of them maginificent entertainers..

  • The singing just blows me away and touches me . This is treasure.

  • the actor look like Elvis.

  • Hey they got Chinese subtitle! =D

  • Does anyone know where I can get an mp3 of this or a higher quality version video?

  • i just clicked on the next video, broh snaeh-sinn & ros...and found it. :)

  • I love the movie i love the song but i don't understand with all the money being invested in srok khmer why is the 60s and early 70s is still more advance then today artis wanna be

  • @nate978x Well, you see, Cambodia was as advance as other countries in the world at that time. But after Pol Pot came in, around two million people died, Most of the educated people were among those two millions. Now Cambodia is decades behind other countries, in everything, even the neighboring countries that just existed. But Cambodia will bounce back soon.

  • Who is the male character real name?

  • Hui Keung (director & producer) as Kroper Charavan

Chea Yuthorn as Kraithong (the hunter)

  • Jesus thank you so much for putting this up. This film is like our culture so real yet so distant. For me its like a fever dream lucid, engrossing, drawing you in near enough to make you its own and then you wake, laying in bed scared shivering in the cold sweat of a fever dream. All we are left with is why.

  • I love this song. This song is a great representation of what Cambodia culture is all about. I would give anything to be born during those "golden era" where there are peace and seas of beautiful Cambodian women. I learned how to sing this song because it connects me to a country that I knew very little about.

  • @khmerpac You are right, it was peaceful and a lovely country to live in during those time. IF not for the war, Our country would be better developed, compare her to Singapore and Thai.

  • I feel sorrow that I was not born in that great period.

  • omgg.. i 've been lookin for this songgg everywhere.. do u guys noe where i can get dis song?

  • send your email!

    I'll send u the song

  • love this actress she is one of my favorites, just beautiful.

  • now i know thats why its golden voice

  • piros nass bot nis Thanks

  • Everyone's so cute and whimsical... A complete contrast to the disastrous events that were destined to ravage the country. Seeing this makes me happy, but I also feel really SDAAY!

    Thx 4 the post

  • Srok khmer back then looks free and fun. Flirting with each other without having to worry about sexual harrassment or offending anyone. Wonder what life would be like if srok khmer never had to endure the Pol Pot Era. Great song by the way! Thanks for sharing!

  • Now "No Money, No Honey" women won't be attracted to you unless you got some green. LOL

  • You know what good about this song. It's how Sin Sisamouth sings it. He make his voice sound funny like "ah chey" the classic comedian. Listen how he pronounce some of the words, he over exaggerated with that funny comedian accent. Love it, this guy is the ULTIMATE singer, no one and I MEAN NO ONE can sing like him. Plus he make the song sounds fun and flirtatious. Not boring like that Preap Savath and Sokun NIsa, they sing with no emotional at all.

  • What are they talking about in this video? Is the guy warning them about crocodiles? How does this conversation go in English, anyone ?!?!

  • it's all about flirting, birds and bees, fruit from the tree specificly from banana tree and being a hunter and specificly he is not hunting that crocodile you see in the video but the ladies

  • thanks!

  • my dad said that the song is some kind of riddle and in a way they are flirting as well.

  • Comment removed

  • I agree man, life in the old days look more chilling and laid back. Flirting at will without having to worry about sexual harrassment and all these BS's the modern era created.

  • Hey I just uploaded a video this song. It's the newer remake of it. Check it out

  • you got to love Sinn Sisamouth..,he got a beautiful vice...I love this song...

  • Man Cambodia is so fun chilling in the water like that flirting with the ladies. haha Ahh life is simple and chilling.

  • I love this song!!!

    Thank for sharing.

By the way, can you please upload this dramas cause i really want to see it if you have. Thank again.

  • Ahha love this song so much! This is one of the few movies i have from the 70's. Thanks for sharing!

  • Could you please upload this movie !!!!!thz

  • I'm changing my name to Sinn Sa-Bo

  • Funny shit i was just thinking about that little dude & he pops up in this video.Heard he died long time ago, thats just what i heard.

  • Seriouly the female singer is alive.

  • No, she's not.

Dy Saveth (the main girl) is still alive. Ros Sereysothea died in the Khmer Rouge Era along with 1/3 of the Khmer population.

  • Sorry I messed up. I mean the actress Dy Saveth. my bad!!!!!

  • Dy Saveth and Chea YouThan, and Loto were the stars in this movie, Krapur Chharavan in the 70's. Only Dy Saveth and Loto are still alive today.

  • great acting from the old day. If only new khmer stars have half of their talent.

  • this one of my fav song... and yeh... hahah

dah lotoh... haha... old days. huey....

  • this is khmer movie, but if you go to chinese vedio stor also had that movie too, but speak chinese

  • oh snap. I love this song...I use to pratice this song with my sister like everyday when I was young. I love the meaning and the cultural. I love this song so much. Thank you/

  • omg ...thats freaken mr loto. mannn that guy is old schooooooool haha....remember watching him in some old movies back in the early 80's haha.

  • Actually I don't think this song was suppose to be in this part. But for some apparent reason, the Khmer version they added it.

  • I agree with krashk001. this song is from the movie Preas Neang Champa Thoung. When Seng Mathoum meet Hu Keng.

  • I see Chinese lyric...how come?

  • you see chinese lyric on this video because first time when this movie release. they bring to show in hongkong. that how they have chines lyric, Also Dy Savatt husband a chinese movie producer. that al i know.

  • You're seeing chinese lyrics, because this movie was one of the many great films that was produced during Khmer's Golden Age. During that time, many Khmer films were featured in International Film Festivals. The Chinese lyrics you're seeing showed how much the Chinese admired and appreciated Khmer films. Like what Khmers are doing to Chinese movies in this modern era, the Chinese back then did voice-over for their fellow Chinese viewers.

  • @ctaks

Interesting analysis. It's films like this that makes me so proud to be Khmer.

  • I married him already. LOL

  • I agree with Drewk215. You really rock natesterx!! And also want to know who you really are??I been having that question in my head, it's really bugging me. Plz plz respond back. Thx in advance

  • hey dude can u post the movie on youtube?

  • wow.. super old..i dunt no wher u get all these oldies from but..u rock!.who are you!...haha..thanks for the video..is that man..tah low tow?

  • that is indeed mr. loto

  • wow, i've never seen this clip before! considering a lot of films were shown abroad, perhaps old lost films can be recovered with the assistance of other countries' film archives. just a thought.

    thanks for sharing!
