I love the RAGE virus idea sooOoo much better than undead because its alot more PLAUSIBLE ... im a graduating VFX film student and im making a ZOMBIE short film real soon and i tell you what my damn zombies arent dead.. they have some kinda non-undead virus... so much better in my opinion ^_^

the thing that gets me, why didn't the infected go through the channel when the first outbreat took place? were they too busy destroying Great Britain? o.o
by the time it could have spread that far, france or NATO would have put up a quarantine.
That is assuming that the lab facility was in some isolated place in Britain, and took its time to spread from person to person. those first bunch of infected in the labs could have taken atleast a day to find someone else to bite.

no no dude, you see the infected leaving the french entrence to the channel tunnel, well what looks like the entrence. I think when you see the helicopter at the end, the french werre allready being attacked, maybe the kids and the piolet landed at the wrong time when the infected were all ready in paris
i highly doubt that, let alone infected making it all the way down the channel tunnel, they woulda done that in the first movie, or they would starve along the way.
Logic states the the kid infected someone accidentally through saliva or blood, then the virus spread and they just gave france as an example of mainland europe being infected. Remember, human error is the way to all catastrophic events
who knows, we might both be wrog, but both explanations i belive is close to the answer. i can think of a few ways that include both answers, but maybe we'll find out if ever 28 months or what ever later comes out ^^
The Channel tunnel ends at Calais, not Paris. so considering they run out of a subway in front of the Eiffel Tower, in Paris, it's more likely that the kid infected somebody, and it's showing the aftermath.

Thats true, but then again, what government is honestly going to listen to reports of 'zombies' or 'Infected' and take it seriously? They would only have noticed and (tried to) take action once the situation is truly noticable, and the way the virus traveled in the movie, it would have been everywhere by that point.
The supplies thing sounds like the best idea. But my original idea was that somehow andy's infection was on some sort of timer and he started displaying symptoms during the heli ride which explains why it's crashed at the end: He killed/infected the pilot and maybe his sister.
Yeah I liked killing floor and L4D for while but I want something with as good of a story as this movie and the same memorable characters you know. Doesnt have to be multiplayer, just a good singleplayer like Resident evil but a multiplayer would make it WAY better.

by the time it could have spread that far, france or NATO would have put up a quarantine.
That is assuming that the lab facility was in some isolated place in Britain, and took its time to spread from person to person. those first bunch of infected in the labs could have taken atleast a day to find someone else to bite.

Maybe the french let their guard down or, the channel was being used by the americans to get supplies so simply it was left open. The french thought it was defended but obviously the infected seem to walk right through

no no dude, you see the infected leaving the french entrence to the channel tunnel, well what looks like the entrence. I think when you see the helicopter at the end, the french werre allready being attacked, maybe the kids and the piolet landed at the wrong time when the infected were all ready in paris

i highly doubt that, let alone infected making it all the way down the channel tunnel, they woulda done that in the first movie, or they would starve along the way.
Logic states the the kid infected someone accidentally through saliva or blood, then the virus spread and they just gave france as an example of mainland europe being infected. Remember, human error is the way to all catastrophic events

The Channel tunnel ends at Calais, not Paris. so considering they run out of a subway in front of the Eiffel Tower, in Paris, it's more likely that the kid infected somebody, and it's showing the aftermath.
the French (if they had the sense to) would have demolished the tunnel once the threat was noticeable.

The supplies thing sounds like the best idea. But my original idea was that somehow andy's infection was on some sort of timer and he started displaying symptoms during the heli ride which explains why it's crashed at the end: He killed/infected the pilot and maybe his sister.
