well ill be graduating from highschool this june i can tell you with certainty that about 80 percent of the people going to college are paying all that money just to party. Im going to either takeup a internship or go to tradeschool for electrical/construction its cheaper and your learning something that will with a fact get you a job
Very inspiring message, Im 22 and Im working on my degree to be a teacher, and i was not a serious about it before, but now that Im paying outta my pocket--$1200 every quarter, im serious. And sometimes i hate waking up at 6am to go to class til 9, then a full time job, then excercise, then cook dinner, then take my grandmother to the store...I feel stressed but I know itll be worth it
@MittBritt20 Yes it is ALL worth it. You have a passion for life and other peoples life. You have the ability to make someones life better so yes do it till the finish :)
It also depends on what degree you have and who y ou know. I have a Masters degree in International Management and I have never used it and not by choice, lol...
I am 47 and back in school. I am just getting my feet wet with a certification but who knows where that will lead me :) I am so excited and you are right because I am getting all A's because I am paying for school and I want a 4.0 gpa.
Good advice - I'm 47 years old and I'm half way through my Master's program and I'm going to continue on for the Ph.D. It never is too late. I agree as we age we become "smarter" as you phrased it. My brain may not process school work as quickly as an 18 year old but I'm certainly more focused and I am not distracted by outside influences. That is the blessing of maturity - I finally know who I am, I finally know what I want and I am not going to let age stop me from getting it.
I definitely agree. I have a bachelor's, master's, and specialist degree. It was rewarding getting those. Now I am aspiring to persue a PhD....knowledge is power! ;-)
"Get Certified" :D love it! Seriously you are speakin to me! I've been debating this very issue! True God has the last say Amen! Thanks for this video! :)
wow this is crazy i been getting involved about going back to college. Its never to late to go back but wow this must be GOD pushing me to go with it and stick with it thanks for this message and motivation
I just started back to school to finish my degree(get my RN)....when you get older and go back to school you know how much you need it...My mom got her LPN @ 60...if she can do it at that age I know I can get it
I am going to go to graduate school though, once I finish with undergrad school.I am deciding between living on campus in grad school or living off campus. That is the only thing I have an issue with.
I would like some advice in finding a job in today's market....I am in school getting my MBA....I live in AL...I guess I am just flustrated....help motivate me...God Bless
i tell people all the time they are never too old to go back to school...one of my cousins went back and graduated C/O 03 together and he was 50ish! the skys the limit!

Thanks for sharing, but what if you have to pay back 1 million dollars?
TheLifeofCurtisT 3 months ago
@TheLifeofCurtisT Well you just have to pay back 1 million dollars. When people get loans they know they have to pay them back and thats that :)

@lit26 I was just saying, but yeah you're right about that. :) Education, and a Degree sounds great, but I rather get a job now. :)
