Probably the disc spun down because it had some scratch or because data were written in high density, so had to be read more carefully. BTW I have Forza 2 as well and installed it together with GTA IV on 20 GB HD (gonna be replaced soon). It never shows the second tip while loading a track (neither on Nurburgring)

if you upload files on the hard drive the cpu and gpu still do the same work but the fans dont increase in speed so your just gunna fry your xbox

My 360 is silent. My ps3 is silent...most of the time...

But if I made a video of my ps3 being loud...it would be loud ALL the time in the video :-) and even louder with a microphone recording the noises.

Listen. You can stand the 360 on its side or have it laying down. The box was designed to do this people. The main thing people do not understand about this box is you need the proper air circulation. I have mine sitting right at the window. fresh cool air blows right in and the exhaust blows out from the box. Make you sure you dust it regularly and you should be fine.

Contact Microsoft or Jabil they will both tell you to lay it flat and not to stand it up or plug it into a surge strip.

Like I said it was designed for both positions...if you have other people telling you otherwise then they are lying and this whole things is false advertisement. Whoa you crazy bitch!! You had the disc running and then you suddenly turned off your console! You probably scratched the crap out of the disc! trust me I used to do that with my PS2 and I ended up scratching all my discs, its not worth it. The proper way to slow down the disc is to go to the dashboard first then turn it off.

right im pretty sure theirs a massive difference between the ps2 and xbox 360, the 360 has buffers built into it to slow down the disk, it doesnt matter if you turn it off or goto the dashboard and then turn off...

Dude, turning it off via dashboard or turning it off by button still has the same shutdown sequence.. the disk still slows down to a halt... it only scratches if you knock it over.

dubhummer75, he has a HD-DVD addon. When installed and the Dashboard was updated, it splits the DVD symbol into 2. One for the DVD Game Drive and the other for the HD-DVD Drive. Thus, when you move down to the tray icon, it will display whatever the content of each drive is.

PS3 is a sweet and quality bit of next generation console which DOES NOT use last generations batteries like the 360. i have both the 360 and the PS3 i like me 360 for halo 3 and other little bits such as the way you can keep up with friends n etc. hhmm i am a playstation fan and always have been. i would say get the PS3 but there are things on the 360 you would miss not to forget 360 charges for everything!! they want your money.
