Hi, I have a question. For the copper wire, what type do I have to get, the coated one, or the UNcoated one. Because today, I decided to do a small experiment with two 12"lamp metal bars united with a small coupler which bough the lamp metal bar to a total of 24 inches.Well, at home I had a spool of AWG 14 copper coated magnet wire AND I had a spool of bolt cable as thick as the AWG14 copper cable, I wired them in parallel, when finished I got 0 volts/0 amps. Does BOTH cable has to be uncoated?

easy way to wind a coil is to put it on a lathe and then all you have to do is control the winding of the wire and not the turning of the core.

nice sacrifice on the building of this for demonstration purposes. to take your old work apart for supplies takes a lot of love for humanity. much respect to you for your efforts. small sacrifice maybe,... but it's a lot of work 2 times over as well.

Excellent. I am thinking of trying first twisting the two wires together then spooling them on as an experiment. I know when I lentz my other wires first for my Bedini setups it is soo much easier to spool. Oh your aching hands, there is much work in in your prized spools of wire.
