  • Lol made me laugh so hard non horsey people are SOOOOOOOOOOO clueless my friend said this to me;"what sport r u doin this spring" me:"ridin" her: " I mean a physically demanding sport" me: riding is physically demanding her: no its not all you do is sit there and move ur arms to turn the rest the horse does

So ya some peoples r clueless

  • good job.

  • Isnt it the horse owner whos the idiot?

  • Lol so funny

  • ...had a parent at my daughters school call to invite her to birthday party. They wanted us to bring my daughters Arab show mare to the party to let everyone have pony rides. I live in Canada and the party was being held in the woman's high rise apartment building, in mid-January at 5 o'clock in the evening. When I pointed out that it would be dark, not to mention about -10 and snowy and icy in the parking lot and asked her if she was nuts, she screamed at me that I was a snob!

  • @iamsherii2 That is so unfair!

  • @iamsherii2 That is so unfair!

  • lmfao. so. true.

  • This is so true and also, if this person went and had indeed ridden the horse and fell off because of his stupidity and was badly injured, STILL would NOT have learned and would blame it all on the owner of the horse... So it is better to be safe than sorry from stupid people...

  • OMG welcome to my world !! LOL :)

  • HA HA--this is funny--maybe a little harsh, but funny and so true. My real favorite is the other similar video with the idiot who wants to buy a horse. This is so funny. "Do you make him run fast when you ride him?"

  • Uhhh...I have horses....and I let people ride them & pat them... As long as they listen to me and wear a helmet.... This is well harsh.

  • @Dcup91 Its not harsh to tell somebody this ignorant that they cannot ride your horse. If somebody has a nice show horse, they would not want it ruined by letting common non-horse public riding it all the time. And also, it is true that a well-trained horse can be so in-tune to aids that it becomes dangerous for beginners or non-horse public to "play around" on. Good for you that you have play horses for common public, but this is not too harsh, its reality for many people, myself included.

  • @eateetor Good for you :P My horse still has his lovely manners even after my friends have been on him.

That said, I don't just let any old nutcase on him. Like I said, as long as they listen to me, I'll let them. Usually they never get faster than a walk anyway.

  • Nice thing about Carriage Driving...you can share your horse without sharing their mouth.

  • I've had this conversation about my horse all of the time! Haha! Like, right on the dot. Haha! This is too funny! Although, my answer is always "No" unless you're my trainer or someone who is REALLY good.

  • This is soooo hilarious!

  • oh wow, So funny!

  • LMAO I think I have this discussion with a different person at least a couple of times each month!!!! HAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • And yes, AT 5 I was working to be around horses. Thats not a typo.

  • was taught so many things by those people and their animals. On the other hand, at shows and just trail riding I have seen people who seem to think their horse is made to do nothing BUT run run run. And they are HORSE PEOPLE.

  • O.o I have been on a horse since I was 5. I'm 40. I have never had a conversation with anyone like that. If it weren't for kind horse people I would have never learned anything about the animals. I lived in a suburb as a kid. My only contact with horses was when I would go to the stables and ask if I could help, do work, just to be around them. I

  • so horse people are horrible? got it

  • I've had this conversation all too many times. :)

  • lol i just love how all non horse people think that all horseback riding is, is racing. too funny XD

  • Omg ahahaha I've had this convo so many times

  • lmbo! I've had this convo way too many times. I do have one horse that anyone can ride though. He's so lazy he does nothing but follow the other horse. Great for leading kids on lol. Some people really don't need a horse or to ever be around one though! Just like the previous owner of the paint mare I have, ignorant fool. Finally got her to like people again and got her trust, she's got a forever home with me. ;)

  • omgosh this is so true.
