Hello, I was always a fan of Nazia since I was in my school days. I loved her voice because I also love to sing and I used to sing all her songs and still do on my Kareoke. I am still looking for a Kareoke version so I can sing with the background music. She was too young to die. How did she die? It hurts. May her soul rest in peace. Ameen. She was so beautiful. Nazia died of lung cancer in London on August 13, 2000 at the age of 35

Sunday morning, her mother, Muneeza Hasan, was called to the hospital where her daughter had started coughing heavily at around 9:15am. She died within minutes. Nazia is buried at the Muslim Hendon Cemetery in London.

its the saddest thing which left so many of her admirers heartbroken. i've heard that she sought divorce from her evil husband which was finalised just 8 days before her death.....this song is from the album Young Tarang (1984). i have this album cd and most of the songs are very nice, especially "aakhen milany waale" is really superb. nazia was also a great human being. may she rest in heaven.
