  • Your lens cap is in the fruit basket.

  • looks great, where are the instructions on how to build this,.!!!

  • @pacogv check out the description and you'll find a link to 'thefrugalfilmmaker'. he is the guy who originally made this type of dolly, however, he doesn't recommend for DSLR but as you just saw, it works well with DSLR.

  • great stuff man!!

  • @MrGdoubleOD Thanks! So simple but so effective.

  • a motorized version for timelapse shooting would be awesome :)

  • no but seriously where did you get that exact tripod head?? that's key for using w. "heavier" cameras after all that's 2-3000$ sitting up there.

  • @NYMLVNV The ball head is a manfrotto 482k. My setup isn't $2k-3k. More like $1100.

  • @defnyung hey thnx for ur reply! interesting tripod i just checked it out - that manfrotto. well, i had already found a workable solution for my canon xa 10 - w rode mic on top. i ended up using the same mount from frugal dude's fig rig video and applying it to the table dolly. not as versatile but quite stable. (i'm doing mostly documentaries) Initially i had frugal guys exact tripod head and it was precarious - too heavy w my camera.

  • dude your bananas are beginning to go bad. eat them quick that is unless you are planning to bake banana bread yummy

  • @NYMLVNV Don't worry, those bananas were eaten and they were tasty!

  • @defnyung bravo on healthy choices plus not wasting food. so, u wouldn't believe how many times i've watched this and frugal dude's video when i was building this remarkable little rig - THNX AGAIN! i wonder what other sorts of rigs u have done or are experimenting with???

  • @NYMLVNV well, take a look at my $15 diy steadicam and $5 slider videos. The $5 slider video is the one with a boombox thumbnail.

  • THe is super cool cause you can do curve dolly too and it look nice. How do you bolted the wheel on the pipe anyway?

  • @venuslnd take a look at the link in the description and you'll see the guy who made the original pvc dolly but his is small and he thought it wasn't possible to use with DSLR. He explains how to put the bolt onto the wheel.

  • So cool buddy!

  • I want to buy one

  • nice!

  • That's a good price. I would say more like $49.95 and make it extra fancy.

Check "Cheap Skate Dolly" on Youtube

  • @tuppyhuh yup, just checked out your motor dolly video and it's great!

  • If you're still making these for sale, I'm interested in buying one. Let me know!

  • @123BigRob123 Yeah, I've had 3 requests lately and I'm just searching for some inexpensive wheels. Once I find them (hopefully within a week) I'll hit you up.

  • I just love it!!!

  • it looks really good man but i honestly dont think its worth $40? If it were me i'd probs go for maybe $20-$30 $35 max and that way you would sell more and at the same time be making more money! but good work i really like it!

  • @mrphotographyperson dude, you need to do the math. $20 is a joke, $30 is ok, but to try to make a little extra cash $40 is quite reasonable. wheels are between $5-10, pvc and screws are $5, $3 for cement so that could total= $15. also, the time and money to drive to find a good of inexpensive wheels. So yeah, $40 is very reasonable and honestly, if you think it's expensive, you don't have to buy. I'm not trying to sell hundreds. I just sold one and not worth the hassle for $20-25 profit.

  • @mrphotographyperson Oh, don't forget about the shipping, that's not free.

  • @defnyung totally agreed, no dude you got it at a good price, and for ur time and everything thats real generous, twenty bucks wud be a fucking joke

  • I like this better than the original tutorial because you showed it in use and showed actually footage....this has to be the most inexpensive dolly rig out there...I am going shopping next week. Thanks.

  • tutorial pls..

  • @bboyzuel see description and you'll find the link to the guy who made the original pvc dolly

  • On 1:12 it doesn't look like its level. you should glue some levels on it so people know its everything is even. Looks bad ass

  • @kk6downing With the weight of my T2i and lens, it does become level. I actually sold this one on ebay for $40 and built me another one. The buyer had no complaints. Thanks for checking it out.

  • @defnyung Thats cool and compact

  • What editing software did you use?

  • @NotAnotherJdog sony vegas pro 10

  • I would like you to make me one. How much?

  • @mltvmt3 I just sold one on ebay and will probably put another one for sale in a couple of weeks. It will cost $40 which pays for the pvc, wheels (better than the ones in the video) gas to go get the pvc and wheels and labor. The only thing u need will be a tripod head or ballhead. If you are seriously interested send me private message here on youtube and I'll send you link to my ebay to show you the one I sold.

  • I would like you to make me one.

  • What's that song and I's samuel l Jackson the guy speaking

  • @DylanMcginnis1 Song: Drumosphere Artist: Serphonic

You can find it at jamendo.com.

  • @DylanMcginnis1 Yes, that's Samuel in Pulp Fiction

  • Chingow...nice...that's my project for today!!

  • @WHATEVER956 Gracias carnal! I just wanted to show that this pvc can hold a dslr. The guy in the tutorial doesn't recommend it but maybe because he's using a cheap tripod head. I'm using a tripod ball head and it hold the camera well. Also, I used the original hardware which means I didn't have to buy any bolts or nuts.
