This video is meant to clear up how people thought stuff happened but really didn't it's meant to teach us a lesson of how great God really is by twisting it around and showing us how it wasn't and making us laugh. I do not find this offensive at all and it really isnt I think it's very helpful to people that misunderstood the bible stories.

The people who made these videos were showing exactly what Christ is NOT. And they did a very good job. Jesus is nothing like what he is in these videos, which is why they are funny. Jesus is our Lord, King, Protector, Savior, and Servant. I love Him with all my heart.

It's sad that everyone is debating on whether or not these videos are "offensive". Truly, they are just really funny vids that take a light-hearted look at Jesus and his teachings.

I find these videos offensive. It's possible that the creators had good intentions, but the image of Jesus is very irreverent, regardless of intentions. I suspect that someone who truly loves God would not find these funny.

It doesn't matter if the video was made by a church or not (every church will not be included in the Church that Jesus comes back for; everyone that goes to church doesn't necessarily have a relationship with God.). This video mocks the words that Jesus spoke, not just His image. True servants of God would not have constructed this video. Anyone who has a real relationship with God wouldn't find it amusing. Period. (Maybe you need to do a little soul searching yourself...)

So all this to say, you have missed the point. The point of the video and seemingly the point of all Jesus teachings on the kingdom, but I pray, that God will reveal that to you also!

However, I do want to say I love the irony- thank you! How you, with the same attitude/way of thought attack this video as that of the Pharisees whom defended God by killing Jesus. How also you call yourself the place of the immanent presence of God...holyofholies. How does that not mock God? lol. :)

One ought to be careful of the jokes he/she makes about the Lord. I'm sure God doesn't find this amusing because (1) it distorts the image of his righteous Son; (2) it defies the Living Word of God; and (3) it encourages sin. These type of things lead to condemnation. BE VERY CAREFUL! "Do not be deceived, GOD IS NOT MOCKED; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7, emphasis added).

Second, i would like to point out that this video was MADE by a church to mock a popular social view of Jesus... A view that says Jesus is a simple, cheesy, straightforward goody-two-shoes who is unavailable for help or guidance, but present to judge and condemn, offering no hope in return. This is a satire- or did you think Jonathan Swift actually thought it wise to eat babies as well?

I will take your case point by point. (1) The image of Jesus it already mocked by both secular and evangelical views- I wont get into it. But this video mocks views that portray Jesus in an untrue light. (2) this one doesnt really make sense and Im not going to insult your intelligence by assuming you actually believe what you wrote

You are dogging the servants of God who made this video poorly, so maybe you are the one mocking God?

I dont know why you wrote that- maybe you are confused, ignorant, misguided, unable to understand satire (not that these are your fault), or perhaps your favorite version of Jesus isnt the one in the Bible, but the one who is mocked in these videos. Maybe that is why you wrote that reply. I hope it is not the latter b/c that Jesus doesnt exist.
