  • What kind of CPU and how much RAM do you need to do this?

  • they use PC's... hmmm

  • @CenterEntertainment As opposed to a supercomputer like an Inferno? What else would they us other than a PC?

  • @carlylespicks i was taking a crack at mac people xD

  • @CenterEntertainment i was taking a crack at people who forgot who made the first PC. :)

  • which nvidia is best for premiere 1.5 and 2.0 , pl tell me

  • @MyMohsinraza the optimize their cards to work that way

  • @CenterEntertainment how to do like that in premiere 1.5, cs2 or cs3???? please tell me. if i purchaze 975 express chipset board with core2quad. how easily it can render sd movie??

  • @MyMohsinraza I dont know, sorry :/ try yahoo answers or something

  • Thank you for sharing.

  • Thank you Adobe Mercury Playback Engine.

  • Thank you for sharing nvidia.

  • Adobe Mercury is great.

  • This changed my life.

  • wow look at those cpu threads

  • What graphics card did you have on this Z800?

  • I want to use Mercury Playback, what would be the best video card for Mac Pro?

    THANKS

  • Will this be available for Apple FCP systems?

  • quadro if you want stable drivers.

  • current approved vid card * GeForce GTX 285 (Windows and Mac OS) * Quadro FX 3800 (Windows) * Quadro FX 4800 (Windows and Mac OS) * Quadro FX 5800 (Windows) * Quadro CX

  • "nvidia" I would have a couple of questions:

Is this demo realized with GeForce-GTX480 or nVidiaFXQuadro5800?

Are they both CUDA based on?

What's the proper configuration to get that result? beside the VideoCard I mean. Would you specify CPU, Mobo, RAM, others...?

    Thanks in advance.

  • i have a question. i just bought a gtx 480 to use with the mercury playback engine. it does at advertized but it is limited at 3 layers. thats ok. when i am playing back it works great for about 10 seconds. after 10 seconds of realtime, it stops and plays back all jittery, slow and not realtime. is this because of my hard drives? i do not have a raid setup or anthing like that.

  • @b2dmastersniper ah gtx 480 is not one of the cards on the approved list. maybe this is why your having this problem?

  • @bigstout i had a crappy file i was tryin to playback, that was the problem. i can hit up over 9 layers of hd avchd color corrected playback realtime its awsome.

  • @b2dmastersniper so ok i did some research and so as long as u have a CUDA cores you should be good. studio1productionsdotcom/Articles/PremiereCS5.

  • @bigstout if so whatever CUDA we use we could achieve that result, correct? obviously the better you CUDA cadr is the better real time will be. thanks.

  • @b2dmastersniper just to understand: if I use an i7 CPU with the GTX480, would I able to work real time as in this demo? thanks for your feedback - I'm trying to figure out how to edit HD without spending X000€ for QUADRO cards.

  • @startakko ya dude, no problem. i7 + 480 + mercury = flawless editing. ur guna love it. cheers mate :)

  • so that was 1 redcode clip used more then once at 1/2 res

  • Anybody know how well/bad iMac i7 handles DSLR-video in CS5?

  • Is the Mercury Playback Engine a card that needs to be installed in your computer or a USB plug-in unit?

    Ed Rambeau

  • funny part is that his was edited on imovie...

  • Oh wait it's probably cineform, not redcode.

  • ?? what quality debayer is that for each of those raw 4k clips? cant be full 4k debayer, can it? 8core cpu's cant even do one of those in real time let alone 4...

  • I've seen this in action and it works on both Mac and Windows!

  • awesome awesome awesome. Question? PC only?

  • @seng2kx Ja, will not be supported in your game consoles... If you have a mac (filth) it's a pc... install windows on it and it'll all work beautifully

  • thats cool but one question 8 core? what processor u got with 16TH?

  • probably dual quad core multithreaded.

  • nice

  • CUDA will rule the World - big step ahead and more and more will follow - Excellent implement !!!
