the only good thing about this snow plow is its bigger then regular 4wheeler snow plows...but the light weight is not better for gravel roads with pot holes i dont think.
Juat bought a brand new 700 fi rhino, going with the moose 60'' blade & quick front mount set up, sorry don't trust that plastic stuff in the wet hard frozen snow. My yamaha dealer said go with the moose.
but lets see you take your plow off your massey fergason and do some offroading with it........and i don't mean through a field......and at more than 10-15 miles an hour
Hi, I have a few question regarding the plow, First i want to know if this plow comes complete meaning wiht a plow and the motor. And secondly i want to ask how much this will be and thirdly were you guys are located or were we can buy this from
they can talk up plastic all they want, but honestly with steel prices skyrocketing its just a cheaper way to produce a product. its still plastic and it gets old and breaks. metal is better than plastic, the end
it looks like he was correct. look at 1:04 on the video(1minute 4seconds) and you can clearly see the transparency of the snow through the blade. to answer the plastic question... it has to be because you wouldn't be able to see through steel.
I have one, it works really well within it's limits. If you're trying to clear a parking lot, I'd probably look for something else, but I use it to clear my 300-400yd driveway and it stacks it very nicely on each side with 2 simple passes.
I might be able to at some point but it wouldn't be anytime soon. The one I have (which looks EXACTLY like the one in this video) uses the front receiver with a simple pin to hold it in place, then it has two bars that brace it going underneath the frame again mounting with a couple pins held on by clips. It is very sturdy, I just plowed my drive the other day with ~16" of snow and it rolled it over and dumped it off to the side without any trouble whatsoever.
yeah, as long as it hasn't been packed down very much it scrapes along the cement without any issues. If your pad isn't perfectly level I would imagine it would have a little bit of issue with that as it doesn't articulate very well but what it left behind would not be an issue in my opinion.
Just to add to my previous description, it uses a basic electric motor and a nylon strap to raise/lower the blade. To change the angle you just unlock it with the lever, set the angle, pull the lever back up to lock it in place. Very easy to do, takes about 5 seconds between jumping out of the unit and getting back in. I already removed it for the summer but when it goes back on I'll try to remember and make a video to post up.

Nice, but NO angle adjustment unless you stop and get off.

i just bought a Warn setup. it has the power pivot so you can adjust the angle with the flip of a switch.

I use a 65 massey furgason with a 6 foot plow and that will do the job way better than these little toys

Yes, it is high impact plastic, very strong and definitly lighter than a steel counterpart for sure.
