  • This style of dance is from the Congo? That's what I read in the comments but I wanted to make sure. Someone please let me know, thanks!

  • @MillicentDionne Yeah, it's congolese.

  • This video is suppose to be about the dancing, that's it...-_-

  • African dance is a lot more modest.

  • im african american im so glad ican wind like that

  • i wish i was kennay i wish i was kenny he gets it from make my dick say words fine lady, but im chillin extra hungray, thanks for sending me hips yay

  • TOP

  • this is from congo and zzaire very nice dance :-))

  • Black girls ROCK!!!!!!!

  • Peace, love, and understanding.

  • cahi father god, lol i wish i could move my hips just like that. :P

  • What kind of African Dance is this? I mean they're really good and all with their boneless body twisting but I do African Dance too and we don't ever do this much hips/body rolling stuff. Is this Caribbean dancing? Because African Dance, usually West African is high beat and jumping and energetic.

  • @darkangel3536 It's Soukous. Africa is too large and diverse to be characterized by one dance alone.

  • @NiqiO Okay thank you. And true.

  • @darkangel3536 this is the makosa, it's mainly from Congo & sierra Leon

  • @MsLovelyLittleLuv

PLease this is not MAKOSSA, BUT THIS SOUKOUS FROM CONGO KINSHASA AND CONGO BRAZZAVILLE IN CENTRALE AFRICA.

    A CONGOLESE GIRLS

  • @yallha Thank you. =)

  • @darkangel my thoughts exactly, I don't know what kind of dance this is but it looks more Caribbean than African .

  • @09201951ful =) it really does but I guess is something else.

  • @09201951ful caribbean people get them dancing for african .....am a grenadian so i kno that

  • @09201951ful ..so called Caribbean dance originated from Africa. We're all products of exported Africans..( I know cause i am an Island girl married to an African)

  • @choocoolooksable You so cute!!!!

  • @09201951ful

AFRICA IS a CONTINENT, with many differents people, cultures, languages, foods ...

IN Centrale africa, CONGO DRC; CONGO BRAZZA, GABON, CAMEROON, EQUATORIAL GUINEA, WE don't dance with legs and arm, we dance with hips and booty!!!!

    A congolese girl

  • @darkangel3536 Its called Soukous/Ndombolo.

  • @darkangel3536 And its AFRICAN, not Caribbean.

  • aaleyah5380

I'm from Central America, what does it mean? What's the dance about?

  • They can dance and they have fit bodies I'm envious! except the one with huge thighs on the left

  • i remember this song being played at mostly all the african parties ive been too, what is it called? and who is it by?

  • mad skillzzzzzzzzzz

  • This from Dr Congoo <3

  • ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • Love the vibe they got while moving! I just composed an African orchestral piece and put it on my channel :-)

  • OK enough long talk..back to the title of the vid. These ppl can dance

  • I so so so love this dance eh, want to learn it

  • I know im asking a really big favor and i know it will be hard for a lot of you but stop the shit about africans, ok?? Its their damn culture so deal with it or dont watch it at all

  • THEY NEEDA TEACH ME HOW TO WINE LIKE THAT. DAMN YALL GOOD

  • @luciousdimplez1 thankkkyou! we take great pride in what we doo:)

  • Ahahaha it's incredible ! this dance is caribbean ? it's a joke ? People who think that are certainly english caribbean, it's a evidence this dance is purely WEST AFRICAN ! this is very ignorant i am chocked

Those dancers don't dance like " sluts" they dance traditionnal because when i see a west inidan carnival there is any resemblance ok "sluts dance" and "tradionnal dance" is very different...

  • @kkreyolita This is what I noticed Jamaicans wine like Tanzania Chakacha I think because of our muslim history Trinis like are Efik who might be where their carnival originated. But alot of the dances were made up. The dutty wine is actually originated from Ethiopia alot of Jamaican movements are more similiar to East Africa for some reason but the other islands it would other parts of Africa. Busoga is alot like the Hula that they do in Hawaii etc....

  • @HairH2O I think Jamaican dance is VERY similar to central african dance. we go fast AND slow. we also have some west african elements in it too. perhaps even eastern africa as we jamaicans are from all over (though mostly from ghana and the old Kongo kingdom),

  • @Xaymaicana Hate to disappoint you but I have never heard of Jamaicans coming from the Congo.

  • @HairH2O thats on you. a lot of people don't even know the largest amount of slaves came from central africa and the bright of biafra because they only focus on west africa. nothing unfortunate on my side but rather yours as you clearly havent dont enough research. Do some research on Kumina in Jamaica and Congo for example. once you do that I will add some more things for you research since it's not your forte.

  • @Xaymaicana next for your task search for jamaica's reference to Oto King Zombi and see the relationship between his name and ZOMBIE. (voodoo)

  • @Xaymaicana Not for me none of my people come from the Congo and I have close family who past in their 90s in the 1930s and was able to tell about their family ancestry handed down and never heard of the congo. We are not Congo well in Cleardon I do not have family maybe there but not where my family comes from.

  • @HairH2O ok well talk about your family not the entire island.

  • @Xaymaicana My point is Clearendon is not the entire island. The french and spanish took slaves from the congo not the british. The spanish never used Jamaica as slave island like they did Haiti.

  • @Xaymaicana Haitians have congolese in them not Jamaicans.

  • @HairH2O LOL im done. im not gonna continue discussing anything with someone who knows nothing about the trans atlantic slave trade and tries to fight facts. have a nice life.

  • @Xaymaicana Plus Jamaican men do not wine but other men from other islands do. That might because of our black muslim history.

  • @HairH2O black muslim history? lol. erm jamaican men do not wine NOW because its considered "batty man like" it has nothing to do with islam. and back in the day when we had ska and mento clubs the men were shaking their tails feathers so to speak, along with the women.

  • @Xaymaicana So where do you think it came fromLOL. Check it out Jamaicans have a black muslim history the first Maroons were black African muslims who came with the Spanish.

  • @HairH2O oh you are one of those "blacks are MOORs" or "MOOroons" guys. lmao.

  • @Xaymaicana I did a geneology search that is how I know.

  • @HairH2O well you might want to re do that "search" and perhaps look for historical documentation that tells the years and areas in which africans were brought to jamaica like i did.

  • @Xaymaicana Jamaicans are not from the Congo. I think that is Brazil.

  • @HairH2O LMAO! don't dare try to tell me about my history. i actually READ about my ancestry and did the research. don't play yourself. the Kongo kingdom the stretched from northern angola up to southern Gabon accounted for the third highest amount of slaves sent to Jamaica. Same regions as Brazil.

  • @kkreyolita this dance is not west african FO0L it's central african where jamaicans have our roots from. and you want to talk about slut dance? check out mapouka, twat. Jamaicans and africans are no difference. I think jamaican women have more variety but the point is all across the board black woman have rhythm and unique styles. none better than the other.

  • It would be better if we knew which of the 54 African countries they were from.

  • @Par5Birdie they are all from congo! congolese are known for this type of dance..look on other videos and u will see

  • @Par5Birdie DRCongo

  • african/hatian dances are NEVER g or pg always rated r

  • Can anyone tell me the name of this song!!!

  • I wish more americans would dance like this instead of pushing their ass on someone. this is just smooth and not trashy

  • @babydoll19879 ...Why don't you wish that people do their own things, without someone else trying to tell them how to be, the world would be a much better place. Freedom is great. Don't push your ass on anyone, hear!

  • This makes me feel so Proud to be Black!

  • AFRICA all day everyday one love xxx :-)

  • @zaainathefirefly so what? caribbean jamaicans in particular as EXCELLENT DANCERS!

  • @zaainathefirefly - Thank you for making your reply comment. People must try and remember that ORAL HISTORY and DIET, aren't the only cultural past-times passed down through generations.

  • This is African Dancing, it is from the Congo to be more specific.

  • lol this is jamaican dancing.. am jamaican

  • @GodsSaint6 LOL i am jamaican too! =D

    bravo les filles !!

  • i am half african

  • @mysuperanika lol randm

  • @TheRemmy12345 iam actually am no joke

  • this is definitely more carribean than from africa.

  • what song is this its good

  • nice

  • i am indian, and respect for africa

  • This looks more carribbean than African

  • Nice moves but is this authentic

  • @diamondgirl313 yeah this is totally authentic for congolese people! this is really how they dance!

  • This is inherent in the African gene. Something about the music. Yes the dancing appears "easy" to some but you have to have strong knees and thighs for the gyration part. Thus, how long you go on gyration represents your strength, The only problem I have with this is the arms and stance are very masculine. A more sensual movement is the Busoga dance by Ugandans. Nevertheless, very nice.

  • @8Tamarai8 Thanks for that info I have been searching around for different veriations of these type of dances.

  • @HairH2O No problem :)

  • @8Tamarai8 Because with this style of dance, it's all about being Funky. You have to make it Funky. It's about the Groove, not just so much about being sensual.

  • Watch beyonce copy this next

  • i want to learn to dance like this!!!

  • @bellacnella18

    girl tht shit is easy

  • PLEASE WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE SONG??

  • what is this song callled? LOVEE IT! <3 :D

  • @hinatababe97 Don't know what the song is, this is probably just the dancing part. Many Soukous songs have a singing and then a dancing part. This concert was held in Kinshasa (DR Congo) by Koffi #Olomide, one of Soukous greats.

  • PROUD TO BE LITERALLY AFRICAN-AMERICAN! ;D

My dad is from South Africa.

  • I am a white person saying black people are the most beautiful. Thank you mother Africa

  • @BinTHEWOODS666 True indeed

  • @BinTHEWOODS666 Well said!! They (Africa) are your parents!

  • @BinTHEWOODS666 how nice bhit i aint african

  • hahahaha im thinking the comments would be about the dances and i see a bunch of crap about europeans...yea, um, irrelevant ;)

  • @ cadaver, your name suits you. The mere fact that you can't see another person as a human being, based on their skin color or where they originate, makes you dead in spirit. SHRED THE IGNORANCE!!!

#A word from your AFRICAN sister...ctfu#

  • Wat fuck europeans have, nothing. They always came and destroyed Africa,India,Aborigines in Australia, Red Indians in America. • This is Koffi olomide group from congo

  • at first i was like are they at church dancing like this then i realized it was a hotel lol

  • i love

  • @PlejarenPrince It's FUCKING hilarious how you can sit here and say Africa is a shit hole, YET America takes EVERYTHING from Africa. Diamonds, people, culture... Africans are strong people, sure they may not be AS educated as other people but you CAN'T blame them, they support themselves.. If Americans would take out MORE time and try and help, it would be less and less of a shit hole. I'm African my damn self, and WE DO take advantage of that but Americans take it away.. SMH. -__-

  • @UnderStandPlease i am a proud african and i agree wit um

  • this might read corny but , black is black all over the world , why are we arguing

  • @PlejarenPrince Oh, come on now. Look at this person's channel. He/She thinks he is an alien from outer space, a "Plejaren/Pleiadian."

So I guess so called "culture" to them is believing in the lunacy derived from ancient Babylonish myths of aliens from rebellious spirits of YHWE pretending to be enlighteners to the human race, with deceptive so called "wisdom," that really just leads to nowhere but non-existence.

I have nothing to do with this person. No further response. Ridiculous.

  • It makes you wonder what even draws these type of weirdo people to our cultural videos? Like, heck, where is the correlation? It doesn't even seem like they'd be interested to click this type stuff.

I don't know, maybe I guess "Aliens" are drawn to our cultures too, shaking their invisible booties to the sweet rhythms of Congolese sebene. LOL!

  • @PlejarenPrince Well, hon, I don't like the so called fake, "hip hop" trash the western world markets either—I like REAL hip hop.

And with regards any other aspects of our MANY BEAUTIFUL cultures throughout the world—what makes you think you are of any value for us to care about your approval? Whatever your traditional cultural tastes are—basically doesn't impress us, otherwise we'd be watching/commenting your videos—JUST LIKE YOU'RE WATCHING/COMMENTING ON OURS. LOL!

  • @TheCommonC I feel you. I get up and dance whenever I hear African drums. I just do my thing. It comes naturally to us. And have you noticed, the world STILL can not handle Africa when she dances.

  • Thotsins i hear yah.
