  • The controller would have been remiss if he didn't call "caution wake turbulence". Just guessing but wake turbulence would have caused roll problems, not yaw issues. But again, I can't say. Great video

  • Doubtful that was wake turbulence because the Convair touched down way before the 747's rotation point....maybe just a gusty day.

  • That's not the 747's thrust that caused the Convair to act like that. It's the wake turbulence.

  • Just subbed your channel... Some great vids here! (look forward to checking them all out!)

  • @cashman156, I really appreciate it. Enjoy!

  • Loving these videos!

  • Wow! Looks like an old Evergreen pax configured 747. I'm guessing it could have been on an AMC rotator, back in the day: KSTL-KLAX-PANC-RKTY-RODN. BTW, those Convairs are tanks.

  • Very nice, I hear a Tristar 1/100 in the background applying power at the 1.09 mark and at near the end applying full power for takeoff. Nice!

  • Thanks for all the good airplane videos. I am watching even if I don't comment on all the videos.
