Wonderful video! :) I love the pictures you used..they're so appropriate! It must have taken a long time to find ones that were 'just right'! ***** Kudos!
I'm sorry- didn't mean to belittle your efforts. The piece is a gift in it's entirety- I guess it feels a little fragmented to me . . . I'm sure it's a work of love, finding the images to use- please don't take offense at my thoughtless comment. Suzan
No offense taken. I appreciate your honest critique. What about it made it seem fragmented to you and what could I have done to change that? Was it perhaps the lack of titling? If so, that was intentional too. I thought the message of the song combined with the images stand strongly on their own without a need for intros, titles or quotes. Basically I wanted the video to have no distractions and to have viewers hear the song and see the pictures without thinking, "hey, cool effect".
The visual piece is not all it could be, but the song is magnificent. Very moving. Thank you- I've been trying to find anything resembling Christmas this year . . this filled the bill.
Thanks for your comment. I purposefully made the visuals simple because I didn't want anything flashy that would overpower the beautiful message of the song. Instead I wanted the song and visuals to complement each other without anything too big and distracting going on. However, I am always open to suggestions and am curious on how you feel I could have improved the visuals.
Thanks. The Kenny/Wynonna version is also a good one but I picked the Mark Lowery version because I thought it was a more emotional rendition and also because of the personal meaning it would have for him as he was the one who wrote it. Have a blessed Christmas.
Every time I have heard this song in the past, tears come to my eyes. Tears for the sadness that Mary felt when Jesus Christ was crucified, and tears come to me as I worhip the Lord Jesus Christ thanking Him for Salvation which He offers to all whom trust in Him.
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it and yes, it did take a while to find the right pictures.

I prefer the Kenny Rogers/Wynonna version, myself. Still a good song, though. :)

Didn't realize that Lowry wrote that song. I'm more used to his comedic side. :)
