It's not supposed to be a song, it's a chant. There also isn't supposed to be any music aside from the human voice, which is actually quite nice, but, in my opinion, killed by the circus-sounding background music.
Aghi Parthani... a hym written by St. Nectarious of Agenia, can find it in all Languages... Sounds like it is being sung by Fairuz. This is an Greek Orthodox Hym but Fairuz is singing it with musical instruments but she is Catholic. The Very first hym was from the Pslams I think it is 118 but not sure.
@crytekengine actually no, in Lebanon we sing that in Catholic church as well, and in Christian camp with a Catholic priest and Catholic and Orthodox Christians, (YEAH WE WERE UNITED, UNLIKE OUR LEADERS) we sang that!
@crytekengine I'm not exactly sure, I go to every kind of catholic church and sometimes orthodox churches too! as long as they have Holy Mass, so I don't exactly remember! but yeah I know it's Orthodox! I'm just saying we do sing it ^_^

Beautiful! I'm orthodox christian, but I like and this version in arabic. For me doesn't matter the language that somebody use it for praying to GOD.
God bless all people of this Earth: christians, jewish, muslims, buddhists. All we are HIS childs.
