I used to be so crazy about Jewel. After that trying-too-hard-to-be-ironic album, I found I wasn't. Alice In Wonderland helped to heal a little bit, but I'm not entirely convinced. Having said that, I still think she's always been a great human.

There's no positive without negative... you can't like all the works of an artist with equal enthusiasm... and it's not like I said that the 4th album was bad in it's own right or anything. It just didn't seem to fit what I like; or what I like about Jewel in particular in music terms. I still think she's great though, after all, she wrote Amen and this song. What have I ever done? I have a job and get criticised all the time! Just not in public, or on Youtube ... Peace & Love.

ludikalo- It's just a style she sometimes uses when she sings... it's not fake. She has a 'little girl' voice that she uses sometimes- often when she wants to give an impression of insecurity or innocence, usually tying in with the lyrics she's singing...
