@toffyA31 I can see how the lyrics could be like an analogy by using the context of a bad relationship as compared to addiction. But really I think like all good music, they mean what we want them to mean. :)
@toffyA31 I don't think it's necessarily about a bad relationship; I'd rather think it's about those odd yet very intense, almost homicidal relationships that are somewhat addictive as well as dangerous btw two people who should've never met but did & all those "little things" that keep the relationship intense to the point of almost homicidal are what keeps the relationship going no matter how dysfunctional it is or that it could kill 1 or both of them without a complete & total break
@toffyA31 That type of relationship is what can be described as being addictive, like a drug and even destructive to the point or death if not broken completely before it goes too far in order to stop the roller coaster that is leading them straight to the deadly edge. The dysfunction of the relationship in general as well as the actions are as dangerous as a real true drug/alcohol addiction.
