Did anyone else notice the fact that Kodai has a cosmo gun in the holster on his left hip, when he leaps for a cosmo gun frozen under the surface at 0:17 ?
Yukikaze was one of the two most fortunate destroyers of IJN. She survived the Pacific war despite that she was always put into a crucial battle. After the war, she was captured by China and used for salvaging Japanese repatriates for some years.
I've always thought that the Paladin was an awesome ship for its size... It did take quite a beating & managed to destroy several Gamilon destroyers before being disabled...
The Japanese name of the ship "Yukikaze" seems to translate "snow-wind"--perhaps "Blizzard"--a perfectly acceptable and noble title considering the ship's fate.
