My grandfather smoked 3 packs of cigarettes a day and died when he was 93, my uncle smoked 2 packs and died at age 89,my father still smokes a pack a day and is 83 and going strong with no ill effects. my uncle started to smoke at 10 years old and was a three pack day habit.
