Luke Rendel the drummer left Crisis in 78 & joined The Straps along with Stan Stammers before both leaving to form TO Hate after Kirk Brandons The Pack had split up. The Packs Werner brothers Simon & John & also PIL drummer Jim Walker then joined The Straps. Later on Crisis guitarist Lester Jones also played for The Straps for a short while in 1993 at Brixton Academy @ "Fuck Reading" gig supporting Sham 69.

I like both Crisis and Death in June A LOT. Crisis, because they were skilled punk musicians; Death in June's music might be sort of simple, but combined with the lyrics it speaks to me like no other band's music does.

Crisis were a class act. The mini album Hymns of faith was good stuff....as for DIJ...well, not great stuff really...although people do get too hung up on the Nazi Imagery....

Me and my brother put on a Crisis gig in Letchworth, Hertfordshire in 1979. It was our first attempt at promoting and it wasn't a success. However, lessons were learnt and there were many punk gigs that I was involved with in Stevenage after this.
