Ellie's voice is soulful, those cracks are her singing at her best with heart poured into it. She has magnificent vibrato in her voice. She is also likely in the middle of her concert, it probably not her first song of the night, therefore she is out of breath, not out of tune. That audience loves her, as well as myself. I love you Ellie :) You do Elton John so much justice he would applaud you for making his song even more heard!

Really don't understand why the video with Ellie singing this on Saturday Night Live was removed from YouTube. There are many videos of singers singing on SNL that remain on YouTube for years. The version she did on SNL was easily the best one I have heard. It gave me goosebumps, and shivers up and down my spine. Such a shame it was removed, and I still don't understand why. I they will keep THIS one up, then why not THAT one? It was BETTER--MUCH better.
