  • Well I just ordered one... and as far as it floating - It looks like it does just fine. Just tail heavy... I am going to take the elevator servos out from the tail and only run one with 2 rods right over the wing - And all you Gassers are crazy for putting such heavy engines on the front - mine will have a saito 150 on it with a 17*8 prop also move the battery forward..

  • Nice Save at 3:05, tip stalls suck.

  • now i buy one like this

  • whats the cg on the plane please mate

  • I wish I could tell you, but I sold that plane after 6 flights because it weighed 18 pounds with a fiberglass fuse and was too heavy for good 3D. I went back to my cap 232 that is only 14 pounds. I looked for the book but I guess I gave it to the buyer. sorry.

  • How is it as a pattern/sport plane? Looks like it can float in pretty nice for a landing. Did you have flaperons mixed for the landing and harriers?

  • No I did not use any mixing, I generally don't need or use mixing. Making it look like it floats is the trick. This 18lb plane doesn't float by any means. It also has a lot of bad tendencies when performing certain maneuvers.

  • thanks mate mine weigds 5.1kg and looking at the 1 you had its a lot bigger....i have a mds 148 2 stroke engine any tips on the propeller?i have a 16by8 but seams to be laging the pull thanks for replying mate
