actually, i think he has the wrong game. The star wolf theme in brawl came from assault, as far as i can tell, and the 64 version was slightly different.

Wrong, there are two Star Wolf themes, the original N64 theme and the Assault theme.

I'd first played starfox 64 on the virtual console (yes i'm a deprived child i just played it now omg) imagine my surprise that wolf was, at that time, a british gentleman, not the badass thug he is today.

You can fight them in Fortuna, then if you go to Macbeth, shoot the switches to go to Area 6. This leads to the hard fight with Star Wolf

It's a short game, but there are several different ways of beating it, some harder than others.

And if you do, you can unlock other modes, one of which I think you can actually fight on foot with a blaster, which explains Fox's blaster in 64, otherwise he might not have been a playable character.

when you come from the bolse outpost to venom you fight the pyramid boss but when you come from area 6 which is pretty hard for me you get to fight star wolf again but i could never beat them

There are 3 possible confrontations with Team Star Wolf that I know of, but a player can only battle two of them.

My goal is to reach the more songs as possible, and I feel safe to reach that goal.
