game that took place in the year 2000 one year before gta3. it also shows why asuka

then call me a retard but i have nothing against black people but CJ was just dumb character, the story was overall boring, cities we're bland, music in radio stations was annoying, sure there we're lot of cool features like Gym, Bikes, Weapon Leveling, Gang Wars etc. but main story failed for me, so live with it, if you liked it fine with me, but i didn't enjoyed it as much as i like Vice City and GTA 4 (from the 3D one of course, GTA 1 and 2 are still the best to me)

yeah, 300 missions. But this game's missions are REALLY boring. The car physics are really messed up. There's like 5 songs for the radio stations, but it's instrumental and 5 second long loops. It does have rampages, viligante, ambulance, and fire truck missions. It has stunt ramps but they're super glitchy. The whole game is glitchy and slow. Not worth the money.

I found this game to be really bad, from the horrid sound quality, to the non existant sense of speed while driving, and little stuff that the first two games had and this one doesn't.

Just download GTA2 for free from Rockstars website or buy Chinatown Wars for the DS. Both are soooo much better.

This game was really fun because it had an original layout of Liberty City and all the features of GTA3. (Bomb Shop, Pay'n'Spray, Ammunation, Rampages, Police car objectives, Medic objectives, Taxi objectives, Races, Hideouts, and the nice-looking map style complete with the N that faces North and all the info on the top screen!) I doubt this is in the same continuity as GTA III and LCS. Those renditions of the city are in the exact same location as this game, and while being set between both LCS and III, it would be hard to even figure that out.

At least the other renditions of Liberty City in GTA I and IV could arguably be in different sections of the state, because none of those cities have bridges to one another.
