I saw this in the early 80's & have searched YouTube occasionally for the last few years hoping someone would upload this wonderful animated short film.
By far my favourite animation. I love how Frederic instills life into such a mundane object. I dare you to throw away any piece of furniture from your past and not think of this film with a touch of regret...

I won't intrude on the pride that the Quebecois will take in little gems like this, and this is first and foremost a Quebecois film.
But man, how this priceless work makes me feel Canadian!
