Thanks for sharing this video, I have traveled to El Salvador several time and hear of Metro Centro Mall but have never been to it. It seems like a cool and modern place to shop.

i just got back , and i think metro is the best mall , Galeria is also good couse it's got everything you need even a DUI center , i watched Avatar in 3D best movie in the past 10 years

That's San Salvador's Volcano, Izalco's is way out there, about 45mn to 1hr away.

Gotta love El Salvador, no parking for the handicap.

Also, bro', com'on, the reason why people go to MetroCentro more than any other, it's because just about every bus route in the city goes by there, Galerias isn't that appealing and it's further away.

Just like MultiPlaza, too far, most people don't like to travel when something as good is just near by.

MetroCentro for the rich? nah! Com'on bicho.

that makes sense abou the bus route - didn't realize that - we spent more time at Galerias and Multiplaza - I preferred Galerias. Our impression was that Metrocentro was a bit below the other malls though, not for the rich. Thanks for the info.

When I left El Salvador in 1990 (though I've traveled countless times during the 90s and just two times since 2000), there was only 1 mall, MetroCentro and it wasn't as big as it is now.

But I'm so used to the malls here in the U.S. that when I see a mall where it's out in the open like MectroCentro, I luv it, don't get me wrong, MultiPlaza and Galerias was cool but it reminded me like being at one of the malls here in the U.S..

BTW, MectroCentro it's like 5x bigger now than it was in the 80s
