I feel the same way about The Shining. Only a decent movie if u never read the books. However, I'm in the other camp with NES. Liked it, but kid actors could have been better (among other things probably) I hope the reboot is truer to the books.

@SuperJuliusC That is uncalled for Sir. I have read the book and it would be impossible to compress the breadth and scope of said novel onto the silver screen without making it a four hour epic. What is in the film is high quality, it could be considered neverending story Lite.
