For instance, you don't seem to have qualms in the killing of animals for food, however, you don't agree with killing an animal for fur. I agree with neither, I agree with killing an animal for everything it has. Additionally fur is a natural resource that is more environmentally friendly than synthetic fibers. My grandmother gave me a pair of mits made of deer leather, and rabbit fur that her father made for her out of game that they hunted, and sustained themselves on.

The animals that are slaughtered for industrial meat are not killed "quickly". Industrialized meat is one of the cruelest methods that meat can be derived. I think it's a horrible waste to not use the fur. However, I think that killing an animal just for the fur is awful. There is a respect given when one uses every portion of the animal.

I work in fashion and am a very big supporter of the use of fur and buy it for my stores on a weekly basis. @ward2709 Have you ever killed an animal before? The pelt is NOT more supple if the animal suffers and the meat tastes bad because of lactic acid. Adrenaline cannot enter the hair, since it has no vessels it's just dead keratin. Cats and dogs aren't cheaper to raise than mink, rabbits and foxes. I'm sure it's possible to find videos of people doing bad slaughters, but it's possible to find videos of people doing anything stupid you could think of.

For instance, you don't seem to have qualms in the killing of animals for food, however, you don't agree with killing an animal for fur. Additionally fur is a natural resource that is more environmentally friendly than synthetic fibers. My grandmother gave me a pair of mits made of deer leather, and rabbit fur that her father made for her out of game that they hunted, and sustained themselves on.

Why can't they just be contented with fabric? i think there are hundreds of types of fabrics and textiles they can work with. Or just use synthetic fur/skin? sounds good. Besides, the meat that we eat is from different animals, animals that are killed quick, not from seals, squirrels, crocodiles, foxes or snakes or raccoons.

I say this as earnestly as possible. Please go and research the actuality of what you just said before you go out preaching that belief. The animals that are slaughtered for industrial meat are not killed "quickly". Industrialized meat is one of the cruelest methods that meat can be derived. I feel much better about killing a deer/elk/bear ect. with one bullet that it didn't know was coming, then going on to use the whole animal, then with what happens to cows/pigs/chickens

One of the reasons that children are starving around the world is because of the slash and burn agriculture that is used to feed and raise what? Livestock. What's livestock? Meat. So by eating meat you are contributing to a wide range of issues, including loss of homes and the very thing you're against to begin with. All issues are connected. @ward2709 Have you ever killed an animal before? The pelt is NOT more supple if the animal suffers and the meat tastes bad because of lactic acid. Adrenaline cannot enter the hair, since it has no vessels it's just dead keratin. Cats and dogs aren't cheaper to raise than mink, rabbits and foxes. I'm sure it's possible to find videos of people doing bad slaughters, but it's possible to find videos of people doing anything stupid you could think of.

@dmh79 My sister nearly went into runway modeling, they make those girls starve. They get a fraction of the money, and at what cost? Look at them... Do they look healthy to you? All I hear about runway modeling is harsh criticisms. Also, cool you looked at my videos, I only put them up because I enjoy doing those things. Even got my fiancee into it, you would be surprised how fun some of my random activities are, they are just not in the social norm that is all.

I support animal right just like how I support human rights. I think that wearing fur for vanity is cruel because this animals were tortured. I am not sure about PETA but there are good people who work there and actually want to save animals.
