The picture shown in the link of skovheim isnt a Do24. The picture shows a Do18. The plane on the bottom of the sea is a Do24 though. Cause of the round engine nacelles.

So skovheim should use another picture when talking about the Do24

Interesting wreck - but there is another Dornier Do.24 in MUCH better condition than this off the coast of France !!!!!!!!!

I wish someone would find the intact-wreck of a Short Stirling !!!!!!!!!!

Where is the better condition Dornier in France? I dove this Dornier almost 15 years ago, and it was in much better condition. You could see the markings on the fuselage. Maybe they are still there and the cameradiver just decided to avoid them.
