its different caus they added shader wich you can add its in the setup menu but you need to have a good enough graphix card for it to work

oh sorry, misunderstood the question. Right, it isn't, from what I can tell, so much the ripping as the swing of the entire body and snapping of limbs. You see that they go relax, then move in, the they snap theire limbs in to the limb they want to remove, and then it falls off, the grapping and pulling part could be to hurt the limb more, or maybe to avoid it starting to hit them. Really advanced stuff, I'm no where near it, I just do full locked body and swing what I think would hurt the most.
