  • Great post. Both of these are my favorite.

  • Encyclopedia Dramatica -now rebooted beyond recognition- tracked one extra panel to the very last Calvin & Hobbs strip: A newspaper article about a kid who got KILLED in a sledding accident. The article text, however, is too small to make out.

  • The first panel says it all:

The kid was psychotic ! His permanent record was stated to be thicker than all the other kids' put together ! Who knew what was real and what was hallucination with him !

  • Yah, who are the 2 people that clicked "don't like"? Obviously they have no sense of humor because Calvin & Hobbes are Hilarious, and these strips with the snowmen are classic C&H! Loved it....Thanx for the X-Mas laughter!!

  • Thanks, this video made me laugh and cry. This kid is a genius, brought me back some memories about a brilliant girl I met years ago. She made her college grade exam in English using a poem that appears in the compilation book about Calvin and Hobbes. And of course the Twins, we always miss them.

  • What's worse? Traditional pop Christmas songs or hipster doofus versions of pop Christmas songs?

  • I agree two things that are gone that I miss dearly! Oh I read the Calvin books (hilarious still) and listen to Cocteau Twins (stunningly lovely as always) but just knowing they are gone makes my future a bit bleaker.

  • I was looking for this version of the song, thank u very much!

  • When I was a kid ages lets say 5-10 years old I couldn't wait for Christmas because I know my Mom would play this on a holiday mix she got. MEEMMOORRIEESS

  • 2 people have no sense of humor

  • ROFLOL. I LOVE the snowman comics. Perfect music for this, too.

  • My favorit is the Snow Man Crossing:)

  • Oh man, the snowman ones were the funniest, good stuff.

  • "I don't think the schools are assigning enough homework." "First she says go out, now she says come in." "That guys a goner." LOL!!!!!!!!

  • You made me laugh my pants off XD!! Thanx!!

  • lol. so awesome

  • Ou of all Calvin and Hobbes comics, I prefer the snowman ones :D they are funny!

  • Today's a snowday at my town, and I'm SOO gonna make snowmen like these!

    I've always loved Calvin's snowmen!!!!

    XD

  • these are just wonderful!!

  • the last one was funny!

  • Fun video and I like that version of the tune.

  • I liked the snow sharks and the so-called "giant" looking over the hill and the snowman crossing the best. Calvin is a natural snow-sculptor!

  • LOL

  • Big thanks for the smile you put on my face with this. :-)

  • Genius! I was looking for Cocteau Twins Frosty the Snowman and this was the PERFECT find!

  • That was perfect! The song is great and I had never seen those particular Calvin and Hobbes strips. Thanks.

  • funny stuff mate

  • Too Funny! I love it!

    Thank you for posting it.

  • Someone sent this to me in an e-mail, and it was hilarious then. I love the one where Calvin makes one like his dad with a whip.

  • Pinballkid, you have great taste!

  • Surreal and funny -- good mix!

  • me too pinballkid

  • Hey pinballkid, you're a genius ! What a brilliant and original idea to associate the Cocteaus and C&H ! The effect is delightful and it higlithts the fact that the Twin's music brings us closer to our inner child. I saw them in concert in 90 in Paris, it was really an enchanted evening. Thank you for your post !
