Your bad...... if you don't have good voltage off the H/U for your RCA's then the single isn't as clear and wont have very good SQ, you don't know much do you? Just like Steve Meade who i proved wrong on his own video when he tried to say that welding cable isn't better for current than his POS rockford cable(welding cables depending on the size which 4 gauge welding cable is equivalent to 0 gauge car audio wire. can easily handle over 1,000amps continuous easily and much more.)

if your not at 8v or higher going into the amp you need either A.) a kicker cross over or B.) a signal booster(phoenix gold makes a nice one)

@Jacob, you don't need 8v or higher going into you're amp, 5v is more then enough, that's why you have gain, to adjust the HU's output to the amp's input.

you're right, but that's in theory, for subs, you wouldn't hear the difference between 4v and 8v, for highs and mids it's possible you could hear a difference, but not sure
