You can't start the engines as it doesn't have any. You need to use the Space Shuttle launcher tool for the launch stage of the flight, and then it loads up Flight Simulator and allows you to complete the stage of the flight where you are approaching earth again.

There is also a bonus version included for FS2004. Due to limitations in FS2004 this is a much simplified version and features:

* 99,000 ft altitude limit

* No Entry phase flight

* TAEM flight start at lower altitude on HAC

Its called USING ALL THE FREKING RUNWAY!

Its from JustFlight, something like $40 bucks but all you do is land, could be cool. I have flown jets into KSC in FSX many a time, that runway is HUGE!

i sent my model to turbosquid and a user put the fuel tank and RCB's on for me, i programmed the engines into the flight model (i can't jettison them though) :) it's pretty cool now
