IMO Avast! Is better at detecting malware through signatures, but Comodo's Defense+ makes it much better for advanced users. But, defense+ comes with Comodo's firewall ((Comodo has a VERY good firewall)) so it is possible to use avast!, Comodo firewall, and Comodo's Defense+ ((The backbone of Comodo Internet Security)).

@mcfartard Alot of the detections are heuristics, and there are a good ammount of false positives. Still detects more than most AV's tho.

@MrRiadon yes you are right about the heur and the fp but its a huge improvement on what it used to be but as far as a little bit of everything in scores i would recomend avast it has very low fp rating you know avira screwed up thier v10 it sucks imo it has to many bugs.....

how is avast 5 way better then comodo have you used the new comodo its amazing avast is junk it has a "behavior shield" that dose not even do anything its dumb.
