  • I was with the last battle group to visit in '91 before the base closure. We got there ahead of the carrier, so that was great! When we were outbound on PAC we stopped and hauled dependents from Clark Air Base from Subic to Cebu for three days. When we got back it was like it never happened! Great times! Hooter!

  • Thank god the blacks are gone. None of this cultural diversity bullshit there. Thats why I will retire there.

  • @caljackr and stay there u ignorant idiot

  • I was heavily involved in preaching and doing evangelism on these streets in 1989-1990 before transferring to Baretto and Subic. I was a missionary there and still am but now in Manila.

  • wow.... this vid is alright... i miss the old olongapo.... when the US base was still here, magsaysay drive was awesome.... i was in grade 6 this time of this vid, i used to hit on sanitary bazaar for couple of tape recordings of the music those days. then some of the american officers would even give me a buck or two for answering some of their questions.... hehe, those were great.

  • i miss old subic bay

  • Yes, even in the "PI" the black man had his turf. And yeah, I remember(sorta)passed out on Baloy beach

  • @303430 The black man got a lot of ass in the P.I.

  • Brings back memories I was there from 1990-1992 "A" CO. Marine Barracks I had lots of fun. with the exception of Mt. Pinatubo of course. I wish I could go back maybe one day I will.

  • i was 3 when this video was made. i was born in olongapo. maybe one of you may know my dad. his names robert r myers?

  • Wow man, everytime we pull in subic i would always hang out at Del Ros restaurant, where they have duck pin bowling!!! long time ago...i would always hit on girls that work in the restaurant....

  • wow...I wasn't in the military, but I was a navy brat...and I use to hit Magsaysay Drive since I was about...well, I was 14 or 15 in this vid...one of dem cig vendors looked like Manny Pacquiao...

  • I was there in 90-91 when I was in the Corps. Got married and I have a place out there right now. I've been back there a million times. It's not the same no more. Even though you can get into a little something-something there are no more bars like before. They got a few spots that cater to the young Filipinos and a couple straight up bars with bands but if you wanted get grimey you need to go to Angeles City which still kicks like back then.

  • fun

  • MOJO!!!!!!!....BULLFROG!!!

  • Man this takes me back!! I pulled liberty there a couple of times when th I was on the Kittyhawk. Then I got stationed there 89-92 with VRC-50. Loved it all!!! Damn I miss P.I.

  • 1989 - it was the year I arrived at Subic. I left when we closed the base. It was my Nexus with a place that has never left my thoughts. I lived on Baloy Beach. I just want to go back.
