I'm not saying a mac is better, both microsoft and apple have their pro's and con's. But my mac never needs a defrag (0 crashes + 1 freeze) and I own it 1.5 years now. My microsoft netbook is 1 year old and I had to defrag it 5 times now (0 crashes + 20+ freezes).
So your argument isn't a thumbs up to microsoft it actually is a thumbs up towards apple.
And the fact that pc's have more programs available than mac's really isn't something you can blame on Apple. It's not their call.

I'd argue "I'm a mac" is even more daft. It doesn't even say just what makes mac so great, it's just like "I'm better than PC because *outdated PC-related stereotype here*", to put it as base as possible. In nearly 10 years of using computers (and about 8 of those online), I have never caught a virus, or crashed (unless it was my fault) on Windows. Because I have the gift of common sense.

WTF do you mean "White plastic?" Get a clue dipshit, macs are made from Aluminum. The OS is way more advanced that Windows. It's based on UNIX, and even if pure UNIX is better than OS X, it's still better than Windows. I don't hate PC's. I love the Hardware, but I hate the OS! I love Mac because of the OS, and somewhat the hardware. I get disappointed that I can't upgrade a lot of things, but I am getting an external HD soon and some more RAM for it. idc about upgrading graphics either.

If you understand the most elementary aspects of computer hardware you will understand that the Macintosh is nothing but substandard hardware coated in white plastic. It's brand and a budget OS, it's great for the general population who don't actually know what a computer does as they just want it to look pretty while it does it. If you are going to actually try to make a point bring evidence to the table not just: "UNIX IS THE SHIZ COZ IT ARE REET AWESUM N MY MUM SAID IT WERE DA BEST".

I'd argue "I'm a mac" is even more daft. It doesn't even say just what makes mac so great, it's just like "I'm better than PC because *outdated PC-related stereotype here*", to put it as base as possible. In nearly 10 years of using computers (and about 8 of those online), I have never caught a virus, or crashed (unless it was my fault) on Windows. Because I have the gift of common sense.

Win crashes when you are not doing it right, it's like blaming racing motorbikes because they crash and use a tricycle. racing motorbkies crashes because you dont do it right, then you stick to tricycle, it even never falls to its sides but not customizable, you are not free.
