I don't find BAC's line MUCH worse than other Championship lines, however easier their books always are. I have major respect for them regardless (along with most other corps). They try just as hard as every other world class corps, and produce damn fine results :)

@ntdrums20011 Anytime. Boston's by far my favorite corps. I have immense respect for y'all, and have been practicing my way to an audition for a spot on the line this year. It's mostly the huge significance of tradition I see that draws me so much :)

You know what's funny? Those of us who actually got to march with DCi finalist corps don't really care about talking down on other groups, because we respect the hell out of each other. The most reliable sign that a person never has/never will march, is to make comments like you guys do.

I agree with you there is no right or wrong way to drum just different approaches and if any body says there is a right or wrong way then your the person thats wrong as long as there is uniformity within the line and its clean so be it

This is better than what I saw at RCC tonight. BD isn't playing well IMO, horrible technique and playing on tops of heads... Now THIS is how you should play, like BOSTON.

Phantom is actually playing like BEASTS too!

@FulcrumFreddie For real, I don't believe any div 1 corps play on top of the head because it takes a solid amount of stick control to make any top 12 corp, and comparing technique between the corps is pointless because there is no RIGHT way to drum in a top corp, just different preferences in smarter approaches to the drum.

@Fyerdrum77 "On top of the heads"? It's called having touch. You don't have to play every note like it's a double forte eights note rolls behind horns. They had some of the best individual players this year all around, winning half the I&E for percussion, and the hardest book by far. Respect all of the corps, and give credit where credit is due, every members of every corps gave it a hundred and ten percent every day this summer. I agree with the other statements, but BD got a 19.3 for a reason.
