Just finished watching the March 27,2011 TV series "Army Wives" and at the very end of the show they played this song. I've gone through EVERY video on YouTube...Including Emmylou Harris, Gillian Welch - just to mention a few...
Y'all are the first to even come close to the sound of the group that sang on the closing of the show. Was it you? If so, it was fantastic!!! Just as you are here. Thanks for a great song at a time when I needed it!!!

hi everybody, i am searching for a version from the 60s or 70s, sung by a group of 2 or 3 female voices, a little bit different in arrangement. who can help me? please contact me if you can help, i have been searching for this song for more than 10 years. i have a short distorted copy from a radio transmission which i could provide to show what i am searching. as far as i found it it was eventually a group named sadler (saddler-) sisters or "the short sisters" i couldn´t find any of them.
