All these people who come here complaining about ATA, should know that marketing was created to be used in any business. Even a martial arts academy. Don´t be jealous because your neighbor makes more money than you... just finish your study and learn how to do it too.
One more thing: a black belt is a person who he respect for anyone else before, among other qualifications.
i am an ata instructor under a chief instructor and im not gonna lie im yong and ill be honest of course its expense and costs money....but then again when it comes down to teaching....have u actualy tried to teach martail arts....DUDE ITS A SACRAFICR AND COMMITMENT....ITS JUST LIKE BEING A SHPEHRAD NO JOKE...ITS A LIFE...of course i try to make it realistic and teach hardcore:)

Kind of a way to sucker UFC wannabe's into taking their money, but I guess they need something else to spend it on besides more tapout shirts. Let me guess, no punches, just kicks, can't touch the guy though, and once you take the guy down you guys get stood back up and practice kicking air instead of punching backs and focus mitts.

Cant afford ATA? That kind of proved his point about how all they want is your money. A legit martial arts dojo does need money to survive, but telling ten year old kids that this shit will save their lives in a real situation, that they are qualified 2nd degree black belts who only use kicks, keep their hands at their waist, only kick air, and pull all their punches is a real scum bag thing for any dojo to do. It makes them worse fighters than if they had never picked up martial arts before.
Well, the ATA is not the WTF; the ata encourages you to keep your hands up. But yeah, most schools are scams. Not saying mine isnt. My school only takes 30 bucks a month, and we dominate in competitions.
